Jess is the Colorado State Operations Administrator for GreenLatinos where she facilitates GreenLatinos’ work and relationship building of its network on frontline state issues by providing infrastructure and internal support. She has multiple years of experience working for a Representative at the Colorado State Capitol. Jess is based out of the ancestral lands of the Ute and Puebloan Peoples in Southwest Colorado.
Having grown up in Colorado, Jess is familiar with the issues that many frontline communities face. She has been politically active since she attended her first protest at age six. Jess comes from a long line of Chicano activists and has been canvassing for ballot initiatives since high school. Jess holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Colorado.
