Andrea Marpillero-Colomina, Ph.D.

Clean Transportation Advocate

Andrea is the Clean Transportation Consultant at GreenLatinos. For the past decade, her work has focused on the intersections of infrastructure, policy, and place, with a sustained focus on transportation and mobility. Her work has taken her to four continents and across the US. She has taught hundreds of undergraduate and graduate students in courses of her own design, at The New School and the City University of New York (CUNY). She holds a Ph.D. in Urban and Public Policy from The New School, an MS in Urban Planning from Columbia University, and a BA from Sarah Lawrence College. A born and bred New Yorker, and first generation American, she lives and loves in Brooklyn, NY.
