Meisei Gonzalez is GreenLatinos’ Climate Justice and Clean Air Advocate based in Salt Lake City, Utah. He has collaborated with elected officials, organizations, and decision-makers at both state and national levels to address environmental disparities affecting Latine and LGBTQIA+ communities. Meisei holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Utah and is a certified Community Health Care Worker, emphasizing the intersections of health and our environment.
As a first-generation Mexican American, Meisei brings a unique perspective to his advocacy work. Known as the "EnviroCowboy," he is deeply committed to advancing environmental justice. Outside of his advocacy work, Meisei enjoys Utah's outdoors, spending time with his dog "Howl," and pursuing graphic design projects.
