Erik St. Pierre is GreenLatinos' Urban and Community Forest Case Manager, and provides guidance to municipalities and CBOs on the implementation of the USDA IRA UCF grant program, especially in disadvantaged communities.
After graduating from American University with a B.A. in International Relations, Erik spent the past 7 years working internationally and domestically in community development, program management and federal grants management. His passion for community resiliency has led him to work at the intersection of climate justice, youth development, and public health. Whether collaborating with community stakeholders in the Peace Corps, organizing for climate justice, or tracking project deliverables, Erik’s career has focused on guaranteeing that community development is community led.
