About the Role (What you’ll do)

 

We’re looking for a dynamic, hands-on Talent Acquisition Specialist to partner with hiring managers and lead our end-to-end hiring practices to ensure a stellar candidate experience.

 

You will form close relationships within the Federation and develop innovative methods and strategies to ensure staffing needs are met. You’ll use your prior experience and passion for equity to ensure quality hires from diverse talent pools and pipelines.

 

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop compelling job announcements
  • Identify methods and strategies to elevate NWF’s profile to attract top talent and promote NWF as a destination employer
  • Source candidates and build pipelines through various channels including online job boards, social media, networking events and industry associations
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with candidates to ensure a positive candidate experience
  • Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools to track and manage candidate process. Formulate recommendations on ways to improve the hiring process using data and analytics
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in talent engagement and acquisition

 

About You (What you’ll bring)

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and work experience
  • Three+ years of experience in a talent acquisition or similar role
  • Three+ years in full cycle recruiting using various selection and evaluation techniques. Professional credential a plus
  • Knowledge of human resources processes and practices and industry trends
  • Technical understanding of and proficiency with applicant tracking systems
  • Strong interviewing and assessment skills
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to successfully handle multiple priorities while managing details and meeting agreed-upon deadlines
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member, exhibit professionalism in dealing with others, and maintain confidentiality
  • Curiosity, a sense of humor and passion for positive impact

Physical Requirements:

 

Remaining in a normal seated or standing position for extended periods; reaching and grasping by extending hand(s) or arm(s); dexterity to manipulate objects with fingers, for example, using a keyboard; communication skills using the spoken word; ability to see and hear within normal parameters; ability to move about the workspace. The position requires mobility, including moving materials weighing up to several pounds (such as a laptop computer or tablet).

Compensation and Benefits:

 

NWF’s pay is developed based on relevant job market data. NWF considers a candidate’s education, previous experiences, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity when making job offers. The target compensation for this role is $65,000 - $75,000.
