The Sustainability Specialist assists the Sustainability Manager in developing and implementing policies and programs to make Durham more sustainable. Issues include climate, resilience, energy efficiency, renewable energy, waste reduction, electric vehicles, trees, and more. Tasks include education and outreach, policy development, writing, data analysis, program development and evaluation, and public speaking. Must have a degree in a related field and at least two years of work experience.
