This summer, join a diverse and dynamic team of individuals who are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of students from historically marginalized neighborhoods of Newark, Trenton on PBC’s campus for our award-winning Summer Bridge program. Summer fun will be the primarily goal of Summer Experiential Education Facilitators who focus on addressing "summer learning gap" in innovative and rewarding ways that helps youth develop and integrate their academic, physical, and social and emotional well-being, along with their environmental awareness and stewardship.
The two-week training period, beginning on June 18th, allows for opportunities to learn skills in facilitation, debriefing, outdoor leadership skills as well as obtaining certifications in: American Red Cross First Aid/CRP/AED and the potential for ARC Lifeguard certification. SEEFs will live communally in a fully furnished, air-conditioned house with other members of the Summer Staff team. The season runs from June 18th – August 13thand the salary is $4,000, before taxes (plus room, board, and training – valued at approximately $400/week).
