Bridging the gap between IT and non-technical users, the Senior IT Systems Analyst works with users to improve business outcomes by better utilizing Oceana’s systems and data. The Analyst will assess processes, determine requirements and work with IT to implement changes that will deliver data driven outcomes and reports to stakeholders around the global organization. The ideal candidate regularly meets with stakeholders across Oceana to create more efficient work processes and decision support tools through hyper automation and stronger adoption and use of data systems and technology. Oceana’s core data systems are NetSuite (Financial), Salesforce (Constituents), ADP (HRIS), Nexonia (Timesheets and Expenses) and the MS O365 Suite.
This role uses their understanding of the intersections between people, processes, and tools to coordinate and administer systems activities within all major data systems at Oceana and improve the user experience. The role ensures that the analyses and data needed to drive decision-making are available. To increase ease of use and understanding, the Analyst will investigate and recommend data dashboards across platforms.
The Senior IT Systems Analyst will be responsible for user adoption and change management. They will provide training or recommended training paths to help users become comfortable with using data and systems and will provide Help Desk services as needed for system support and use. This role will create, review, and maintain relevant documentation and user guides.
