The Senior Associate Director of Philanthropy works closely with the Director of Philanthropy to manage the Washington program’s fundraising team and its cross-functional work within The Nature Conservancy to secure $12M-$20M per year in philanthropic resources for our mission. They are responsible for supervising and overseeing many aspects of the front-line fundraiser team, leading multi-year strategies for developing the portfolio of emerging major donor prospects and securing 6-and 7-figure commitments from individuals and foundations. Through direct donor work they individually yield $2M or more per year in contributions for The Nature Conservancy in addition to supporting the fundraising efforts of trustees and staff.
