SFPUC Policy & Government Affairs is hiring a Senior Analyst to lead policy analysis and advocacy for CleanPowerSF, our local clean energy program.
This position will work closely with the CleanPowerSF team, statewide trade associations, elected officials and their staff, and other stakeholders on a range of related policy issues. Candidates should thrive in fast-paced and fluid environments, be excellent written and oral communicators, and have experience in policy analysis, development and advocacy, especially relevant to clean energy and the California Legislature.
This is a full-time position based in San Francisco though we are currently working remote. Salary range is $101,036-$122,798/year.

We are the third largest public utility in California, working in eight California counties, with a combined annual operating and capital budget of nearly $2 billion. The Policy & Government Affairs team is responsible for SFPUC's public policy and political strategy at the local, state and federal level around water, wastewater, energy, climate change, infrastructure financing and workforce development. We work in a fast-paced environment, often managing complex and impactful policy issues and projects with multiple moving parts.
