Denver Parks is hiring a Resiliency Youth Program Assistant position to support the Resiliency Youth Program (RYP)!
The RYP provides educational and professional opportunities to local youth, focusing on increasing equitable access to outdoors and jobs in the outdoor industry. The RYP engages youth from underserved or historically marginalized communities throughout Denver, and provides an opportunity to learn about park stewardship, ecology and climate change, and gain valuable technical and soft skills to set them up for career success.
This on-call position will help plan and facilitate youth projects in Denver parks and will work from approximately May through November. This position will work closely with Parks staff and local non-profit partners to implement projects. Applications will be accepted until May 1.
