Earthworks is seeking a motivated campaigner to coordinate our “Making Clean Energy Clean, Just & Equitable” initiative which aims to ensure that the transition to renewable energy sources is powered by responsibly and equitably sourced minerals that minimizes the need for new extraction and moves the mining industry towards more responsible practices. We support transition to a 100% renewable energy future while seeking to ensure that people and the environment are not put at risk through destructive mining for the components of batteries, solar panels and wind turbines.

We are looking for candidates with strong research, writing, and spoken communications skills; experience and skills in corporate engagement and advocacy; a background and interest in the renewables transition; and working directly with frontline communities affected by extraction. The position requires interaction with a wide range of individuals and organizations, and effective interpersonal and diplomacy skills are essential to the job. Fluency in Spanish, French or Bahasa Indonesia required.
