Become a Park Operations Assistant with Sonoma County Regional Parks - Multiple positions available!

Park Operations Assistants (POAs) provide assistance with park operations administrative and parks interpretation tasks, and support customer service activities to enhance customer experiences in our park system. As a POA, you will be a part of the operations team and may assist with all aspects of daily operations within the districts, including recreational facilities, equipment, and visitor centers. Other responsibilities include: Training extra-help employees and serving as a lead for interns and/or volunteers; Performing program and visitor center administrative duties; Assisting supervisors and managers with clerical tasks such as data collection, special use permits, and research; Acting as a district liaison with all department divisions; Participating in campground operations, including fee collection and processing; Representing department at events and some outreach activities.
