A trusted name in conservation within the state and beyond, The Nature Conservancy in Oregon has worked to protect the state’s cherished landscapes and develop sound science to support biodiversity, people, the economy, and innovative conservation. This role offers a unique opportunity to implement and shape TNC’s strategic approach to Oregon’s conservation priorities and the climate crisis to help shape a resilient, viable future for all Oregonians. The Oregon State Director drives the Oregon Chapter’s conservation strategy, public policy leadership, and fundraising functions. They work closely with the Oregon board of trustees to create and implement the chapter’s conservation strategies in alignment with The Nature Conservancy’s 2030 Goals. They are accountable for building a work environment that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive.
