Oceana’s Human Resources department is looking for someone to assist with day-to-day tasks and to perform a variety of personnel-related administrative responsibilities such as creation of offer letters, entering personnel and benefits information into systems, reconciling and paying benefits and other vendor bills. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and be willing to expand their knowledge in Human Resources field. This position will support the US HR Director in duties such as recruiting, onboarding/offboarding, ensuring HR systems are up-to-date, and assisting employees with benefits inquiries. This is a full-time position based in Washington DC on a hybrid schedule to work from the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. A Bachelor’s degree in HR/Management or related field and 3 years of Human Resources experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Beginning June 1, 2022, Oceana’s US offices will be open on a hybrid schedule. This schedule is mandatory and staff are required to work from their assigned office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. With agreement between the employee and their supervisor, the employee may work from home Monday and Friday.
