Regional Parks seeks a dedicated professional to serve as their Fiscal and Administration Manager.
Starting salary up to $57.63/hour ($120,280/year), plus a cash allowance of approximately $600/month, and a competitive total compensation package*
Working with a great deal of professional and independent judgment, the Fiscal and Administration Manager in Regional Parks is responsible for a wide variety of administrative, supervisory, and business management functions in support of the department's fiscal and operational activities including grant administration. Further, Sonoma County voters recently approved Measure M, which provides increased funding to the parks system. This position will be responsible for financial tracking and reporting, developing fiscal content for the annual report, coordinating citizen oversight, and communicating with stakeholders and the public on matters related to Measure M. The Fiscal and Administration Manager will play an integral role on the management team and has responsibility for:
- Budget development and financial monitoring including departmental accounting, purchasing, contract management
- Providing oversight and leadership of the Customer Service team, Accounting team, and Human Resources teams, as well as indirect support to the Director and executive management teams
- Implementing new, department-wide technology systems
- Facilities and records management, department continuity of operations (COOP), and development of Board items
- Overseeing organization development and growth as the department incorporates increased staffing and expanding responsibilities
- Leading the fiscal administration of capital projects budgets
