The Director of Government Relations leads the development and implementation of the government relations and policy strategies work in Oregon to achieve the Conservancy’s goals at the local, state, federal levels. They manage and support the Oregon Government Relations team, influencing and learning from a diverse range of stakeholders, community and business leaders, tribal governments, and elected officials, to advance the Conservancy’s mission and policy goals. In addition, the Director of Government Relations is responsible for development and direct implementation of TNC’s state policy and government relations agenda through relationship building, lobbying, strategic communication initiatives and coalition building.
