General Description
The Digital Producer is responsible for various digital elements to best communicate the overall program to the public. Outlets for this include social media, web stories, videos, and other common digital communications elements.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Works closely with the digital team and external partners to tell stories in an exciting manner that works across many digital channels and to engage followers in our action campaigns via e-mails, social media and other advocacy tools including SMS and P2P texting platforms.
· Works with the Director of Content Development and Senior Director, Digital Strategy, and the Social Media Director to provide editorial content on wilderness.org and related digital channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and other emerging outlets. Additionally, we continuously strive to reach communities with messages that resonate.
· Manages all emails within EveryAction systems and provides performance analysis.
· Coordinates with membership digital team as needed.
· Publishes to the homepage, articles, and key landing pages of wilderness.org to keep the content timely, fresh, and updated.
· Collaborates closely with social media leads to creating posts, infographics, blogs, videos, animations and graphics, for various communication channels.
· Works closely with media relations lead to help craft stories, messages, and outreach as needed.
· Works with advocacy teams on texting platforms both SMS and Peer to Peer.
· Attends planning meetings with various program teams.
· Attends daily digital team meetings.
· Attends External Affairs meetings as needed
· Tracks KPI’s and other metrics and reports back to External Affairs teams.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience, Competencies, and Education
· Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in advocacy Digital communications
· Proven ability to work within various digital ecosystems
· Track record working successfully in teams representing a rich mix of talent, backgrounds, and perspectives—across race and gender.
Desired Characteristics
The ideal candidate will have familiarity with digital tools such as HTML, Adobe Creative Suite, Drupal Content Management Systems, Google Analytics, Facebook Advertising, EveryAction & Hustle.
