The Traveling School, a fully accredited semester high school for girls, seeks a highly motivated and organized Development Director to lead its fundraising efforts. The ideal candidate will be creative, adaptable and able to produce results throughout the range of development activities. They will also be passionate about and informed by best equity and justice practices.

Reporting to the Head of School and serving as a member of the Senior Administrative Team, the Development Director will lead donor cultivation and engagement to strengthen The Traveling School’s culture of philanthropy, allowing our semesters to become more accessible to every young woman wants to join us.

This position will oversee all fundraising projects including major gift solicitation, annual giving campaigns, special events, foundation grants and appeals. The Development Director will set fundraising goals and initiate philanthropic opportunities to broaden our donor base, engage our constituency, and secure funding for the school’s need-based scholarship fund, thereby strengthening the organization.
