The Chapter Director carries out the policies, priorities, and objectives adopted by the Chapter Executive Committee for the areas of chapter programs and operations assigned by the PA Executive Committee (hereinafter "assigned") such as: conservation and legislative programs, fundraising, volunteer development, member services, budgeting and financial management, and media relations. The Director is responsible for managing staff and financial resources for these assigned areas. The Director is responsible for coordinating Chapter work with National Sierra Club campaigns and staff active in the Commonwealth, fostering collaboration and cohesion. The Director fosters relationships with partners, allies, media, legislators, government officials and potential supporters. The Director is an effective organizational manager.
