JOB SUMMARY

ACE is seeking an experienced Canvass Director to direct a nonpartisan voter registration canvassing operation in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

We are looking for applicants who live in and are willing to immediately relocate to Milwaukee, Wisconsin from August 20-October 20. Conveniently-located, furnished housing will be provided if a candidate is hired and will be relocating to Milwaukee.

Key Responsibilities

● Achieve daily, weekly and monthly voter registration goals, and monitor both the quality and quantity of voter registration collection for the duration of the canvassing campaign. ● Work with our Wisconsin team to find and secure quality high traffic site locations for voter registration, including: cultural events, local business partnerships, schools and other related sites especially within BIPOC communities.

● Support partners and vendors in tracking progress to goals.

● Recruit field canvassers and provide orientation and training

● Work with the WI State Director to oversee quality control and high quality registration

● Achieve all voter registration in a strictly legally-compliant manner at all times.

Qualifications

● 2-3 cycles of experience in directing paid canvassing programs

● Strong analytical skills with ability to prioritize and complete work independently

● Self-starter with strong organizational skills and creativity

● Works well under pressure and is extremely goal-orientated

● Solution mindset to reach daily, weekly, and monthly voter registration goals

● Must have proof of COVID19 vaccinations including booster

Compensation

● This is a full-time, temporary position that runs from August 20-October 20, 2023

● The Canvass Director will be paid at a rate of $7,500 per month
