Sierra Club’s Beyond Dirty Fuels Campaign is hiring! We are looking for an experienced campaigner to lead our work challenging the oil and fracked gas industry, specifically focused on fighting fossil fuel expansion on the Louisiana Gulf Coast. Working with partners and allies around the country, we are building a movement to keep fossil fuels in the ground, combat climate change, and protect communities from the impacts of fossil fuels. The Gulf Coast Campaign Representative will provide practiced leadership and strategic planning to challenge the rapidly expanding oil and gas pipeline infrastructure in the US and support the transition to clean energy, with a focus on the Gulf Coast. Salary & Benefits: This is a full time position, $60,000 annual salary, plus excellent benefits that include medical, dental, and vision coverage, and a retirement savings 401(k) plan. This position is represented by a collective bargaining unit and is subject to the terms and conditions of the contract between Sierra Club and the Progressive Workers Union.
