The Human Resources Contractor will guide GreenLatinos in developing a robust human resources plan. Our strategic plan seeks to prepare GreenLatinos for organizational growth and sustainability as we aim to accomplish our mission. To do this we must better prepare the organization for internal and external growth by developing effective structures, systems, and processes that give the board, employees, and members more clarity on our roles, enable better decision-making, and maintain our focus on our mission, vision, values, and goals.
The materials created by the Human Resources Contractor should both provide up-to-date and legally compliant handbook materials as well as reflect the ethical, community-based culture that GreenLatinos is working to build.
Responsibilities include
Creating a GreenLatinos Employee Handbook that includes the following:
Introduction and Overview
Code of conduct
Employment Agreements
Policies and Procedures
Benefits
Onboarding
Offboarding
Feedback processes
Budgeting processes

Position Requirements
● Establishing a consistent onboarding process for new staff and consultants
● Designing a staff performance review process
● Establish a process for CEO performance review and succession planning
