Delaying these safeguards means more pollution in our neighborhoods right now\u2014and more asthma attacks, more hospital visits, and more families struggling with medical bills. Communities will pay the price, while this government and automakers continue to be unaccountable for the harms caused by vehicular pollution.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>EPA\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/nepis.epa.gov\/Exe\/ZyPDF.cgi?Dockey=P1019VPM.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">own analysis<\/a> shows that rolling back vehicle standards would sharply increase harmful pollution, driving preventable illness and premature death.
