Sch\u00fcll, released the following statement:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cToday\u2019s White House Executive Order to boost deep-sea mining is a disastrous move that will harm marine ecosystems, small-scale fishermen, and coastal communities.&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>This new policy squarely prioritizes the private gain of wealthy corporations over the people living in or around our coasts. It continues this Administration\u2019s agenda to put our oceans at risk for monetary gain.&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>GreenLatinos and our members denounce this terrible decision and are working with communities on the ground to fight back against this order.
