It seeks to reverse decades of scholarship, local stakeholder engagement, and preservation efforts, disregarding historical truth in favor of a divisive narrative that serves political extremists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our nation\u2019s public lands should conserve all facets of American history. Coupled with recent executive actions to defund historic preservation and slash the workforce responsible for safeguarding our diverse heritage, this order will inevitably lead to the destruction of nationally significant historic&nbsp; sites and resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This executive order is an insane attempt to whitewash history by attacking Indigenous, Black, Asian, Latino, and trans communities. GreenLatinos stands firmly against this distortion of history and remains committed to justice, truth, and the protection of our public lands and historic institutions for future generations.
