n support of Wilderness Workshop’s mission to protect public lands, the Director of Community Organizing leads our organizing work with the goal of creating broad, deep and diverse support for public lands conservation throughout our region. The Director of Community Organizing is primarily responsible for creating a culture of activism in our local community and engaging the public in support of our public lands conservation efforts, and collaborates with other staff to achieve the organization’s programmatic goals. The Director of Community Organizing and the Defiende Nuestra Tierra Director are responsible for the organizing component of all initiatives and campaigns at WW, and work together to ensure WW’s organizing efforts as a whole are culturally representative of and relevant to the diverse community we serve.
