Edder Díaz-Martínez is a community advocate who's worked in the nonprofit and community advocacy space since 2011. He first began organizing around the DREAM Act and comprehensive immigration reform but soon joined his first political campaign in 2012. Shortly after joining, he transitioned to a communications role, where he combined his passion for social justice and media.
In 2018, he graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University with a Bachelor's in Journalism and Mass Communication. Since then, he's worked with various local Arizona organizations to ensure communities of color live in an equitable, sustainable, and inclusive society. At GreenLatinos, he manages all owned, paid, and earned media strategies for the organization. His goal is to mobilize Latino/a/x communities into action on climate.
