Dear GreenLatinos Familia

The month of February is a historical month honoring and celebrating Black History. As we observe it, let us also denounce any and all forms of colorism found in our comunidad. GreenLatinos recognizes and stands by la lucha por la liberación ambiental for all.

We honor and recognize the contributions made by the Black diaspora - here at home in the United States and abroad - who've led in the fight for environmental justice.

This month, we will be featuring climate justice Afro-Latine/o/a's lideres in our 'Orgullo Afro-Latine/o/a' series and invite you to follow along on all of our socials. We are especially interested in hearing about your Afro-Latine/o/a stories and invite you to share them with us.

Let's continue the fight for environmental liberation for all.

El mes de febrero es un mes histórico que honra y celebra la historia negra. Mientras lo observamos, denunciemos también todas y cada una de las formas de colorismo que se encuentran en nuestra comunidad. GreenLatinos reconoce y apoya la lucha por la liberación ambiental para todos.

Honramos y reconocemos las contribuciones realizadas por la diáspora negra, aquí en Estados Unidos y en el extranjero, que han liderado la lucha por la justicia ambiental.
