WASHINGTON, D.C. -- GreenLatinos released the following statement on the temporary funding agreement from President and CEO Mark Magana:
“The Trump Administration and failed Congressional Republican leadership led to the government shutdown. They have had ample opportunity to do the right thing and support a bipartisan budget that protects the health of our nation's children, protects Dreamers from deportation, provides disaster relief to our communities in need, and prevents the further destruction of our border communities and land with a harmful wall. Enough is enough. They must stop the empty promises and do their job. We need a Dream Act now.”
