Join us on Wednesday, July 22nd at 11 AM ET for a briefing with Ana Unruh Cohen, PhD and Alison L. Cassady, Staff Director and Deputy Staff Director of the House Select Committee on the Climate Crisis (SCCC) to discuss their new report, “Solving the Climate Crisis: The Congressional Action Plan for a Clean Energy Economy and a Healthy, Resilient, and Just America.” The report outlines hundreds of policy recommendations for fighting the climate crisis and is centered on 12 pillars. If adopted in full, these recommendations could achieve net zero carbon pollution by 2050. Our conversation will touch on how the devastating consequences of climate change impact Black, Indigenous, Latinx, and low income communities the most, and how the solutions outlined in the report work towards solving environmental injustices.
