Seeking writers to cover the intersection of sustainability and racial equity

At Sustainable Brands™, part of achieving our mission — to inspire, engage, and equip business leaders and practitioners to work together to create a flourishing future for all — means ensuring that racial and social equity become embedded into the sustainability equation and conversation.

To that end, we offer our global platform as a place to amplify those who have long been absent from the sustainability conversation — especially voices of color, LGBTQIA+, indigenous communities, and women. Sharing power, learning and decision-making with marginalized groups is the only way we will achieve resilient and equitable communities that are well-equipped to solve the major challenges that face the world. That’s why we’re putting a call out to mission-driven writers, entrepreneurs, creatives, innovators and business owners of color to submit articles, speaking nominations and any other requests to use our community and platform, so that we can amplify their voices throughout our global community.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • How companies are leading the way by diversifying their workforce and customer base
  • Increasing access to venture capital and other business funding for POC-owned/-run businesses
  • Broadening representation in the media
  • Innovative business/ownership/hiring models

We're looking for experienced writers, with knowledge of the sustainability, social impact or related spaces — see our content guidelines here.
