POSTPONED: Environmental Justice Working Group Call
Thank you for your interest in attending the GreenLatinos Environmental Justice Working Group call, in solidarity with #BlackOutTuesday for #BlackLivesMatter, we have decided to cancel/postpone this call.
We understand that this time is difficult for Black communities across the country as they mourn the deaths of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, Tony McDade, and for all who have been killed by police and individuals simply for being Black and the continued violence by law enforcement and others as they seek to organize and protest these decades of injustice.
GreenLatinos continues to listen to the requests of our Black community partners during these evolving times and understands that we must continue to do the work of addressing racism, anti-blackness in the Latinx community, and white supremacy.
We ask that you use this time to learn more about the requests and needs of the Black community at this time by visiting: https://blacklivesmatter.com/ and take action via donations and signing their petition for police reform.
We will be providing more information on the future date of this call in the coming days.
