Book presentation of News of the Earth and Maria the Monarch

Homero Aridjis, Mexican poet, novelist and environmentalist, former Mexican ambassador to UNESCO, and President of PEN International (1997-2003) will present María the Monarch and News of the Earth, published by Mandel Vilar Press, during two events in New York and Washington, D.C. These events coincide with the recent arrival of millions of monarch butterflies to their overwintering habitat in the oyamel forests of central Mexico and the opening of the sites to visitors.
