Supervisor: Policy & Communications Coordinator
Assists with raising awareness of CDTC and CDT by coordinating CDTC’s community outreach events and supporting marketing and communication efforts through management of CDTC’s website, social media channels and other media outreach. Work will include integrated efforts with Gateway Community, Volunteer and Development departments to create an environment where volunteers, partners, trail visitors and CDTC supporters want to contribute to and be a part of the completion, protection and stewardship of the CDT. Implements CDTC’s communication plan to provide the most up-to-date information on the status of the CDT and CDTC’s programs, opportunities and needs. Creates and provides public information about the CDT to encourage appreciation of the Trail as well as increase knowledge to use the Trail. Work will heavily utilize social media and web-based platforms, but also provide opportunities to develop visual information resources and tools for a variety of applications.
