GreenLatinos Applauds Senate Democratic Infrastructure Plan Proposal
WASHINGTON, D.C. --
In response to today’s Senate Democratic infrastructure proposal Mark Magaña, President & CEO of GreenLatinos released the following statement:
“Today’s Senate Democratic proposal recognizes the much needed investment into American infrastructure development and innovation, while simultaneously addressing the need to protect environmental regulations that safeguard clean air, clean water, public lands and access to public input laws like NEPA.
Latino communities currently reside in areas with some of poorest air quality levels and insufficient water infrastructure systems. Our focus must be on not only strengthening American infrastructure, but growth in a manner that can withstand climate change impacts and protect all our communities public health, including those who are most vulnerable.”
